Where to Find Local Food
We’re so lucky on Whidbey to have many farms, producers, markets, and restaurants selling local food. Producers across Whidbey Island are growing vegetables and fruit, flowers, and meat. They’re baking cookies and pie. They’re cooking up delectable sauces and jams and fermenting cukes and cabbage. All that great food goes out to markets and farm stands or it goes into restaurant kitchens for chefs to use in delicious, aromatic meals.
Buy local from locations listed below, and your food won’t have to travel far to reach your plate. More of your dollars will stay in the local economy as you support our island businesses. Meet fun, interesting people and see more of our beautiful island landscape. Learn more about why eating local benefits our community here.
