Co-op Membership
Building a strong, resilient local food system and economy together
Whidbey Island Grown Cooperative is a multi-stakeholder cooperative which includes three membership categories: Producers who grow and make our food, Buyers like restaurants, caterers, shops and markets who buy food to cook and/or resell, and Community Members who eat the food and shop at the businesses. Each membership category plays a crucial role in the local food system and has a voice in the cooperative, including representation on the board and votes in co-op business. Cooperative members can choose their level of participation in the co-op, including joining committees, attending membership meetings, and most importantly - letting people know about WIGC and our programs!
Our members are the foundation of WIGC. They support the cooperative through their membership, participation, and commitments to buying local, and WIGC supports them through its programs. View our members here and support their businesses by buying from them, telling your friends about them, and following their stories on social media.
